XBox 360 Red Ring of Death Fix

My Problem

XBox 360 was not working because of red ring of death.

My Fix

Followed IFixit instructions with recommended heat flow gun and IFixit red ring of death kit and was able to fix the problem in around 4 hours. If I had to do it again it may only take me an hour or so now that I'm more familiar with the process.

My Advice

Buy the ArticClean Thermal Material Remover and Thermal surface Purifier as this came in handy when cleaning the chips and heat sinks.
