The motherboard of the DSi XL is considerably larger than the motherboard of the DSi, despite sharing much of the same hardware. The DSi XL is not backwards compatible with either Game Boy or Game Boy Advance game cartridges. Ports on the logic board include the DS game slot, a headphone/microphone jack, and a DC-in port. The ABXY and Start/Select button contacts are mounted directly to the motherboard. The Nintendo part number is UTL-CPU-01.
