The Dreadded White Screen @ Boot

Hi, So I have a MBA 2012 A1465 that suddenly ONLY boots to a white screen.

I have tired these steps:

1 - Disconnected Battery and reset SMC

2 - Reset NV/PRAM - SHFT or CMD+OPT+P+R - Nothing Happens screen stays white

Laptop does not restart or lights on the charger do not change colors.

3 - Recovery Mode CMD+R - Nothing Happens screen stays white

4 - Verbose Mode CMD+V - Nothing Happens screen stays white

5 - Shift Key boot to Safe Mode - Nothing Happens screen stays white

6 - "D' Apple diagnostics - Nothing happens screen stays white

7 - Swapping out the SSD with a known working SSD with the same OS (Catalina) - Nothing Happens still white. (The original SSD is working fine on another machine)

8 - Reconnecting & cleaning the screen & keyboard connector

9 - Cleaning everything inside the said unit / reconnecting all cables etc /

10 - Trying another screen - Nothing Happens still white

11 - Changing batteries - Nothing Happens still white

12- Booting with no keyboard connected - Nothing screen stays white

When the unit is powered off and I connect the charger it powers up by itself.

Connected to an external display at boot has no effect (No signal) odd/

I guess it is once again a logic board issue somewhere along the line.....

The only thing left to do that I can think of is to put the logic board into another same year model using that models components.... maybe it could it be a problem with the keyboard though it seems to be fine? There was never any water damage, internally looked clean, Asking you guys if you can shine some light on what maybe is an easy solution or am I once again to fear the worst.

@livfe do you have your board removed yet? Can you take some large, well focused pictures (both sides) of the board? Post those with your Question please. I am just an old tire mechanic and not a brain surgeon, so I could definitely be mistaken, but If I remember right, and I am old and forget easy, there should be an IC that can cause the same symptoms as you are describing. No, it is not the CPU ;-)

If you are going for a replacement board, then don't worry about it. It'll fix that too :-)

@livfe not yet. Yes, I t would require some soldering :-) any chance you can do a focused close up off the Left side of the board to include the DP connector? Remove your display cable as well.

The white screen issue is a logic board problem within the integrated graphics engine within the CPU chip. Time for a new logic board.

Dan to the rescue! Yes it must be I literally tried everything, all day at it swapping over this and that and all..... cannot repair this then, another dead board for parts.

@danj Are the 2012 and 2013 A1465 GPU chips the same as I have a wasted 2012 that I could get the swapped over, or try the heating up solution to see if that gets it going again?

@livfe - There is no discrete GPU chip, thE Air series uses the Intel Iris graphics engine within the CPU.

@danj So there is no 'removable' part that can be changed over?

I see a YT video with a mac that only had a white screen and no apple logo where they heated up the chip under the heatsink and it worked! Is it not possible it can be the same issue I have?

The 2012 11" A1465 has the white screen issue and I have a wasted 2013 11" A1465 that I can maybe use parts from....2012 Intel 4000 and Intel 5000 Graphics on the 2013.
