how-to on replacing Ps Vita screen?

History

I recently dropped my vita breaking the internal OLED display, I have found a site that will sell me a new one stock for $100, I plan to replace the OLED display. I just need to find a way to reapply adhesive to the plastic and to connect the display to the internal vita components. Please respond with a full description or if not just give any tips you recommend.

hi, i'm looking for the screen too, i have no way to send mi vita to a service center, so i would like to know where to buy the screen and if it is reliable, thanks sorry if my english is not good

For $100 or less Sony would probably replace the screen themselves. I would suggest contacting them first.

Yeah. I checked and they don't offers the ability to purchase individual parts, but they can fully repair all damage for $130 so ill probably go with that, rather than risk it with my little expertise

i would just like to know if it would be worth it to repair the whole vita if there is a barely visible scratch or crack, because my nephew, he keeps all his stuff like airsoft guns, electronics, video games, etc. in good condition and he just recently got his vita and there is a microscopic crack but he's freaking out about it

You can buy a full PS Vita screen assembly here:

Note - A full assembly is the only way to fix any problems with the OLED screen or touchscreen yourself. There is no way you can sepperate the OLED screen from the touchscreen faceplate without cracking or damaging both screens.

I have tryed this a few times with already broken vita screens without any succes.
