Is it possible to replace the screen on the MacBook Air 15" A2941?

Is MacBook Air 15" 2023 A2941 screen replacement possible without a pairing issue?

Hi, I want to know if I can replace the broken screen on my MacBook Air 15" 2023 A2941 with a used A2941 screen assembly.

I know the answer should be yes; however, the recent screen replacement issues with the MacBook Pro 14" models (2021 onwards) and what some people are calling "paired screens issue" with the logic board have meant that it hasn't been possible to do on the 14" model without having some side effects.

So, I want to know if it is possible to do it on the A2941 and if it suffers from the "pairing problem"? Please help me if you know the answer or if you have replaced the screen on this model. Thank you.

There is a bit of a mess as people confuse things.

A virgin display straight from the display maker won’t have the FaceTime camera firmware so that won’t work as well as TrueTone.

If you install a used display you won’t get TrueTone but the camera and display will work with the Older 2022 systems. Haven’t tried the newer 2023 system yet.

So unless Apple has messed things up again that’s the deal. Getting the Apple self repair display will get you access to the calibration tool which is behind a paywall allowing you to get everything working, but at a cost!
