Hi, i went to an Apple store yesterday where they say my McBook was too old to ensure support, although my graphic chip is making some freeze and screen hatched bugs :-(
Before burying my laptop, can i have your advice on it, as serial # is : W86127YXVJ1 ?

this porblem can be fixed, but not that easy.
there are many companies that offer the gpu repair for the mackbook pro - the price in germany is around 149€
maybe you should search ebay or something like that

Try www.360media.info in Germany - they will do it for 99€ ! Mine works great now.
