No screen after installing ventura beta 13.5

I have a 2021 Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch, Apple M1 Pro chip with 10‑core CPU and 16‑core GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) and after installing Ventura Version 13.5 Beta (22G5072a) I have no picture on my screen. I am able to work via an external monitor but can't get to the boot options on the external screen, I've tried with the screen plugged directly in via HDMI and via a replicator via usb c. Either way I'm plugged in the only screen I can get to is my login screen, I never see the apple logo or boot options. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

You need to run the system in claim-shell mode, plugged into the AC, using external keyboard & mouse (USB being the preferred) with the display lid closed so the external is set for the primary.

That will allow you access to the startup keys.

If you get that far I’m suspecting your display just gave out.
