How to eject stuck cd?

History

The cd has a paper sticker on it (is from ADS Tech!!!). I have tried the terminal, Toast, rebooting with left side of trackpad down, the works...

I read that a guy had inserted a flat head screwdriver tip in the cd slot and managed to 'catch' the cd. If I knew the internal 'design' of the cd-rom slot, I might try it.

Any suggestions?

To remove he disk without destroying it or the drive, your best bet is to open the machine and open the disk drive. Here's how to get to it: iMac Intel 27" EMC 2309 and 2374 Optical Drive Replacement Opening the actual drive usually7 only involves four to six small screws to remove the top and gain access.
