installed ifixit replacement battery wont connect power adapter
Hi People,
so I did the full (took apart everything) repair as follwing:
MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2012 Battery Replacement
everything back together, everything works fine.
Except the magSafe plug wont show any light. The replaced battery wont charge, but it is running my macbook... now at 76% ... till there will be no more juice left...
While I was putting the macbook back together, I had medium struggle getting the cable connection coming from the new battery into the mainboard. After 3rd attempt with more and more pressure i relaxed my mind and it worked out easy.
I think all other connections should be ok. Also rechecked everything.
One more thing... I got twited memory... maybe i didnt turn the macbook off before... i dont know somehow :D
Do you think i should just buy the used i/o board with the power in for magSafe to speed up my repair time?
Do you think i need a new battery? I mean its working really good!
I need my second brain back quickly...
Please Help ! :)
All the best from Germany,
Marcel
Is this a good question?

Sorry for that...

I see you say you checked everything, but are you sure you didn't crush any of the connector pins and that it is seated correctly? I apologize if you indeed did go back and do this. Usually the best place to start any troubleshooting is by beginning with possible physical issues first.
