I bought a new battery from ifixit. I installed it easily and it was charged 70%. When the battery was low I tried to charge it but it was not charging. I did all types of reseting and still not charging. any ideas?

I’m sad to say you have a charging logic issue on your logic board! The battery is responding and the charger is as well. But the power ‘Charging with’ is stuck at ZERO!

I often find this happens when a knockoff charger was used which damages the comparator logic which senses the voltage.

So if I change the charger will it fix the problem ?

Sorry no, its the starting point! You'll need to find someone who can fix your logic board. Most of the time its just two resistors that need replacing as they get damaged.

Ok will try to do that.. but just to let you know that I never had a fake charger.. I bought my charger from Apple.. the only thing that I have bought not from Apple is that battery which I really regret buying it..
