Memory Upgrade to 1 gb g3 iBook

Dear sir

i have use the manual for ibook g3 for instal a new hard drive a new screen and a new dvd drive and a new main board 700 mgh, works fine with a faster hard drive 128 gb 7200 and dvd drive works for while good

i like to know if is possible to instal more than 512 mb memory i running tiger 10.4.11 i ask because de graphic with mac osx possible more memory

Unfortunately the largest memory module available for the iBook G3 is 512MB, so a G3 will never have more than 512MB plus what is on the board, usually a total of 640MB.

G4s, on the other hand, can take a 1GB module, so the max for a G4 is 1GB plus what is on the board, which can be up to a total of 1.5GB depending on the model G4 you have.

+ RAM: 128 MB of SDRAM soldered in place, expandable to 640 MB using one 1.25" 3.3V PC100 compliant SO-DIMM
