Proper airport card for a1181

I purchased a replacement ar5bxb72 for my 2.2 ghz a1181 macbook, only to find that when I dissassembled everything, the current card has only two posts (and wires) not three. Will the three post card ( ar5bxb72) work and if so, what post do I ignore?
