Can I transfer logic board MacBook Pro 13" mid 2010 to mid 2009 model?
I have a Macbook Pro 13” mid 2010, which is pretty battered and a Macbook Pro 13” mid 2009, which is in rather good shape. My problem now is that the OS for the 2009 edition cannot be updated sufficiently anymore, so that I can’t reinstall and run Microsoft Office software and several other programmes, which I need. So I wonder if it might be possible to build myself one functioning Macbook Pro out of the two. The “easiest” would probably be to just transfer the logic board from the 2010 model into the case of the 2009 model and leave everything else in the 2009 model as is. So my question really is, if the 2010 logic board is compatible with everything else in the 2009 model, or if there is any other way to mix-and-match the two for parts?
Is this a good question?

Thanks everyone! I’ll give the exchange between the 2010/2009 a try then. This is what I have here now and it’s only meant to give me a break for some time until I can afford a new Macbook, so it won’t make sense to invest a lot of effort into another compromise. If it doesn’t work for some reason I’ll report back.
