Brake lights not working

My 2000 Chevy suburban is going to be the death of me. My taillights work, blinkers work, flashers work...but the brake lights don’t. I have a new switch I’m changing today but could it be something else?

Try looking in your Underhood Electrical Center and checking the fuse labeled STOP LP, it's in the very top right of the box. See page 6-59 of the owner's manual.
