usb pin came loose

History

In regards to my Canon PowerShot A610. The usb port on my camera has come loose and is floating around in the camera. There are three small screws that house the USB. I am unable to attatch a usb cabel to the camera. Can I fix this by snapping it in or do I need to send it in?

take a look at this guide for how to remove the outer case on your camera. Once you have done this you may be able to locate the loose part and work out how to reattach it without the need for sending your camera to a repairman...which will probably cost more than the camera is worth!

Or if it can't be fixed using pollytintop's answer,you have to buy a mini USB female end and replace it using the same guide
