The Canon PowerShot A610 is a silver compact 5.0 megapixel camera. This model is identical to the PowerShot A620, except for the fact that the A620 is a 7.1 megapixel camera.
The PowerShot A610 features an optical view finder, a 4x optical zoom, and a 2-inch vari-angle LCD screen. The camera includes Canon's exclusive high-performance DIGIC II image processor improving the autofocus time and focusing ability in low light conditions over the previous model, as well as a movie mode feature. Canon's A-series cameras have been best sellers since being introduced and provide the best "bang for your buck".
