Need ID help to determine correct part order

I need a new left fan for laptop I purchased late 2008. The only ID I can get from the vendor, MacMall is, Mfg part # MB487LL/A ,from Apple, and their item # 07691239.

I've searched the web, contacted MacMall, and still can't match the part # with a model # in order to purchase the correct fan from you. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris Wilson

Hello,

The MB487LL/A is the refurb/3rd party model number for the MB133LL/A, which is why you are having difficulty finding the part info for it. There is the specific left-fan you need on here on this site.

I hope this helps :)

Oops. The fan you referred me to is specified for a 2.33Gh laptop. The one I'm trying to identify and fix is a 2.4Gh machine. The serial number is SW88450AV1XR if that's any help.

Thanks,

Chris
