sreen blanks when lid moved
when i open the lid at some point the screen blanks. i removed the plastic edge besel. i move the wires near the hinge and i can make it come good. i think it is a broken or loose wire.

Jim since you already figured out your problem, now you only have to fix it. I would replace the cable since it is the most likely spot of failure. Not sure which Toshiba you have otherwise I'd try to find you a service manual or try to assist you otherwise. Good Luck
