Would like to purchase a keyboard ribbon cable connector

Model A1046, Serial # V7340EN8NRX

I have a P/N 661-2925-R logic board in my mac, and the 30 pin keyboard ribbon connector on the board is defective. (Broken) Is there any place I could purchase this connector? I have experience in soldering these type of connectors in the past.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

You won't need to solder it. Here's how to replace it: PowerBook G4 Aluminum 17" 1.67 GHz (High-Res) Keyboard Replacement The main problem is finding the part without the keyboard attached. I don't think there is a separate part number. I do however remember a question on this where iFixit did have the cable. I would write the and tell tthem what you're looking for here: http://www.ifixit.com/Info/contact

The part I need is the ribbon cable socket on the logic board. It is broken and I need to solder a new one to the logic board. The ribbon cable and keyboard are fine. Just the socket to plug the keyboard into the mother board.
