Even I have the same problem. Mine is a Honda Dio 50cc (Japanese). Starts, accelerates everything fine but when I release the central stand and when the rear tire touches the ground bike shuts down. All the battery connections throughly checked. How to fix it?

@theshadows sounds like either a torque issue or you are cutting something off under the seat. Check first to ensure that the fuel line is not being 'pinched' or that it pulls on some wires.

If it idles okay but does not have any torque you do want to check the compression and see if your engine performs as it should. I'd also would try to adjust the carb. You want to start with the air/fuel mixture screw first. Also check your float height and make sure that the level is right and that the needle valve is not stuck.

Thank you Neil, your answer was useful. I found out a malfunctioning ignition coil and replaced it. Now the bike is perfectly alright. I feel this kind of problems are due to faults in electrical connection.

Did you check your battery connections. Sounds like your issue might be an issue. From my understanding, you do need a good battery connection for the bike to run.

you cvt is messed up. if it dies when you stop and then it's hard to push, your cvt has something wrong with it. clutch is stuck or something in there.
