video is slow on the G4

History

I want to update this computers video card, but I'm not sure what to get. Its 733mghz cpu. and works fine otherwise. Any suggestions?

Ralph I believe the old-macs site is just for G5 Mac Pro cards unless he's expanded. I've bought from him. Just checked and he has expanded. Good source and nice guy.

You can't

reasonably upgrade a laptops VGC as they are soldered to the logic board.

It takes a lot of expensive equipment and time to change, so much so that it's cost prohibitive on any but new machines.
