MacBook Pro 2009 won't turn on

My MacBook Pro won't turn on, also there is no blinking light on MagSafe charger LED.

I tried a new charger (same model) nothing happened, and also I tried a new A1322 battery from the original 10.95v 60w to a newer 10.95v 63.5w unit.

The first time MagSafe light blinked green only for just a second then again off, I tried SMC reset, unplugged the RAM but nothing happened.

I'm from Sikkim India. In our state we don't have any Apple Store

Please help

thanks

Please supply your systems info. Plug in your systems S/N here: EveryMac - Lookup then paste the URL of your system here so we know what your system is.

I suspect you have a deeper problem here than the battery.

Have you checked the DC-In Board where the MagSafe Power Adapter connects? Check, if the connect-pins are ok or maybe clean that with alcohol pads.

If you have a spare DC-In Board try to replace this and give it a test.

If that doesn't work, then you have to start with the minimum configuration:

- disconnect everything from the logic board except the fan and keep the DC-IN Board on the logic board

- plugin the MagSafe (it should turn on the green LED)

- then connect the power pads on the logic board and check if the fan turns on.

If yes. The logic Board is ok. If not, then the logic board is faulty and has to be replaced.

IMPORTANT: Please do everything with ESD Tools and use a ESD Anti Static Mat and Anti Static Wrist Strap!!

Let me know if I could help you with this advice.

Try disconnecting the battery and the magsafe adapter , press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Hook it back up and try powering on and let us know any results you get.
