iPhone randomly flips between mute and non-mute
My iphone 3gs randomly flips between being muted and being live without touching the switch. Very annoying and I;m missing a lot of calls. Can anyone help?

the ribbon needs to be changed that controls the mute switch, power button, headphone jack, and volume button. It's all connected together.

hi i have the same problem.. i just ordered and received the new mute butoon, which parts else do i need for solving this problem, or can i fix it whit juste the new mute button ?

if you only ordered the external button you may need to order the flex/ribbon as well. it is headphone/volum
