What can I do with a damaged eMac?

I took my US bought eMac and plugged it into a UK socket, and it blew. Is it worth fixing? Any idea how much that should cost? Thanks.

kitbaker1, "Is it worth fixing?" Depends on what failed. Check the power supply. It is possible that the damage is minor, i.e. Fuse or capacitors. Could be an easy fix.

There is a lot of protection built in to help with your problem. What model emac is it? I agree, it could just be the power supply.

You can take in it and have the power supply board checked out or replaced. May not be worth the time and cost to repair it.
