LCD brightness flickers when moving the monitor - How 2 fix?

When I open the monitor, it feels like there is a "short" in the power supply to the LCD... as I move the monitor, the brightness flickers dark / light until I stop moving it. I have to wiggle the monitor to get it to display bright or move it into a different position. The hinge also feels very loose inside. I want to know...is there a ribbon cable in there that may be damaged / pinching? Can I buy from you and replace it myself and tighten the hinge as well?

Options

I would make sure to replace the inverter cable before it shorts in the hinge and damage the logic board. Meanwhile don't play too much with the lid.

I'd suggest an issue with the inverter cable. It's located at the left hinge.
