all white screen not black when turned on

History

when turning on my g3 i can hear the sound but the display shows all white. you can tell that its on by the the display lighting up. Do I need a new LCD or is there a loose wire that needs reconnecting???

First try hooking it up to an external monitor to see if you are getting a good signal from the GPU - graphics processor. Next thing to check are the the Display Data cable connections then the LCD.
