LCD screen went black after 2 drops

only dropped my phone twice. and only has a small crack on the screen. but the phone shows no backlight.

when i plug it into the computer to charge it. it makes this repeating apple bing sound every 5 seconds.

the weird thing is i am able to update/ and upload my pictures

it responds to holding the power and home buttons down.. the sound stops until its back on...

but no siri/ touchscreen/ and nothing when i flick the vibrating button

do you think it is just a cable that got lose or do you think i need a whole new screen for 150

or just get a new phone from apple for 200??

Chance are you have damaged the lcd it's possible tht the screen connections have come loose but unlikely ..

Had this problem with a iPhone 5 beeping every 5 seconds and showing black and a new screen fixed that.

how tough is it to replace with the touch ID home button? do you have a link for the best screen replacement? :)

There is loads of videos on YouTube on how to change the display if your going to tackle it yourself
