How to fix missing filter (?) on logic board?
I recently replaced the Power button and Volume buttons cable (parts from ifixit) on my sister's iPhone 5. After re-assembling, phone had a blank screen, but could faintly see a lighted dark screen, also you could tell the backlight was working and had no problem connecting to iTunes. Also, when charging makes "chime" sound every 5 seconds or so.
Took back apart and noticed on the logic board under the tape where the LCD connects, there appears to be one or two components missing, my guess is these are filters. Can you please verify this is in fact the problem and if so how to fix? I'm comfortable soldering, however i've never attempted something this small and probably don't have a small enough soldering iron. Also, I wouldn't know exactly what component I would need to buy. Would it be okay to somehow bridge the connections for test purposes?, if indeed that is the problem.
I think I've explained everything and i'll attach the best pictures I could get. Thanks for your help!
Is this a good question?
