Why isnt my iPhone 4 not working after I cleaned it from water damage?

i bought a Verizon iPhone 4 off eBay with water damage. i cleaned out the corrosion and got a new battery for it, and it still doesn't work. what else could be wrong with it

If you saw frank corrosion, then you probably have a short at one of those components. You could start by putting the logic board into a known good housing. If it doesn't work, then you'd be troubleshooting a board-level repair. Possible, but takes some experience and tools.

There plenty that could of got damaged your screen could be water damaged and not turning on your power button might not work or charging port or it might just be the case that the water damage has completely destroyed the iPhone and can't be fixed.
