Thought red ring repair would fix

My nephew has an Xbox360 which unlike the red ring it only display's a quarter of the actual on button circle as red. So in lookin at this i assumed the red ring repair would fix it. After the installation of the red ring repair, I switched on the console and i received the same fault message.

On the ring around the on button instead of the ring being 100% highlighted red (as the red ring of death would be) it is only highlighted 25% and is blinking.

So i'm hoping someone can help???

4 red lights means the video output cable is not detected, it is only possible on the earliest models that do not have HDMI ports. Try to look for faulty parts between the output connector and output chip.
