How can we fastaning the Display back on the iMac?

We have watched the guid on your website and we have changed the HDD like in your video but there is no insturction how we can fix the display back on the iMac or where can we buy the double-faced adhesive tape?

That’s a very important information for us, I hope you can help us urgently.

I would assume that it is going to be 3M double sided tape that you would use to reattach it. Remove all the reside that is currently on the computer right now that was left over from the HD reinstall, then use double sided tape/adhesive to reattach it. Apple doesn't use glue for their glass but double sided tape. You can probably pick some up at a hardware store or off amazon.com. I would recommend not getting a kit if there is one, most of the times they are "pre" cut, but the will never fit. Instead, get a big role and cut it yourself, making sure that the tape will never cover or attach to any cables/camera/antennas. If you do this, you should not have a very hard time reattaching the display. I use 3M double sided tape for iPods, iPads, and MacBook Pros, and it sticks well.

I suggest to use 3M vhb 4926 or 4920 which is thinner (0.4 mm) and i suppose it's large about the same used by apple (5 or 6 mm)...

It's a kind of bihadesive tape used in automotive industry to fix several parts and it's pretty easy to find even in real stores...

It's also super easy to put in place.

I suggest also to iFixit staff to put this particular in their teardown tutorial....

Hi. May I know where you got your 3M 4926? I've got a local supplier in Singapore that sells it, but only by the bulk (72 yards) minimum for $200 USD. And I'm not sure if the sellers on ebay sell genuine. I bought from a site in China once, and the tape turned out to be fake. Isn't sticky enough at all.
