Are there any diagnostic LEDs?
Hello everyone.
I have quite a scarce iMac model: EMC 2104. The fact is that my computer is not starting at all (I guess the power supplier is dead). I tried to open it and look for some diagnostic LEDs, as I saw it concerning other iMac models.
But I'm not really sure if this iMac model actually has diagnostic LEDs, or where these LEDs are... Can you tell me or give me some clues about this interrogation?
Many thanks,
Tim

Open the RAM access door and look just to the right you should see them there if this model has them (not all of the early systems did).
Do you get any beeps or a start up bong at all? Do you hear the fans starting or see them if you have pulled the display off.
Hi Dan! It happens that the computer is now working. I actually did... nothing. Honestly, it borders on a miracle. (To answer your questions, there was no beep or start up bong at all, and I didn't see any LEDs). Thanks for having spent time to take care of my computer trouble.
Tim,
