Apple released the iPad 2 Wi-Fi on March 11, 2011. Changes include the new A5 processor as well as a front-facing and a rear-facing camera. The iPad 2 Wi-Fi includes 802.11n wireless, but lacks 3G connectivity. This iPad model was offered in 16, 32, or 64 GB capacities with color options of white or black.
In March 2012 Apple began shipping a new version of the iPad 2 Wi-Fi available only in the 16 GB capacity. Externally, the new model can be identified by the EMC number located on the back of the iPad.
