Broken Screen ¶
The screen is broken or unreadable.
The screen doesn't display anything.
The LCD screen is cracked, broken, or burnt out.
The phone's screen needs to be replaced. Refer to the guide on replacing the screen.
Screen Bleeding ¶
The corners appear brighter than usual.
The pixels on the edges of the screen stop working.
The LCD screen may be loose at the edges.
Tightening the screws around the LCD screen may fix the issue.
Prepare to replace the screen with the guide in case simpler options fail.
Phone Will Not Turn On ¶
The phone can't hold charge or won't turn on.
The charger will not charge phone.
The keypad is not responsive.
First problem may be that the battery has died.
The battery may need to be replaced. Refer to the guide on battery replacement.
If the battery isn't the problem, the entire circuit board needs to be replaced. Refer to the guide on circuit board replacement.
Poor Reception / Unable to Make Calls ¶
Phone calls have unusually high amounts of static or bad reception.
The phone cannot make calls or drops calls frequently.
The SimCard is bad, and it will need to be replaced. Refer to the guide on replacing the card.
Keys Not Working / Sticking ¶
The keys cannot be pressed or get stuck down easily.
The keys do not work when pressed.
The keys on the keypad may need to be replaced. Refer to the guide on replacing the keys.
Phone Will Not Vibrate ¶
Phone's vibrator seems to be weaker than usual.
With the specific vibrate settings turned on, the phone will not vibrate.
The vibration device needs to be replaced. Refer to the guide on replacing the vibrator.
