Trio AXS 3G Troubleshooting
Released in 2014 and can be identified by FCC ID: 2ABYR-3GTM.
The Screen is Malfunctioning ¶
The screen is black or unresponsive.
If your tablet is hot to the touch and unresponsive, it has probably overheated from being in the sun too long or abuse to battery. Give the tablet time to cool down at room temperature and try to power it on again.
Damaged Display ¶
Tablet screens are prone to physical damage. If the screen is damaged (there are visible or tangible cracks) replace the screen using this [guide].
Device is Frozen ¶
If your device won't respond to touch, wipe the device screen with a soft cloth to remove any debris that is preventing you from operating on the screen. If screen is still unresponsive, try powering off the device and powering it back on. If the problem persists, refer to our [motherboard replacement guide].
Tablet Will Not Power On ¶
Device will not turn on when the power button is pressed.
Faulty Charger ¶
Try charging the tablet with a different micro-usb charger. If the different charger will charge your device, then it is an issue with the old charger and not the battery.
Faulty Battery ¶
If the device will still not power on after using a trusted charger, then the battery is faulty and will need to be replaced using this [guide].
Water Damage ¶
In the case of water damage, try drying out the tablet by shaking out the water and placing the device in raw rice. The rice will absorb the moisture trapped inside the device. Then try to turn your device on again. If the tablet is still unresponsive, refer to our [motherboard replacement guide].
Tablet Does not Emit Sound ¶
No sound can be heard coming from the device.
Volume is Muted ¶
Make sure the volume is not muted. Volume can be adjusted in Settings app or by pressing the volume up button found on the outside edge of the device.
Faulty Speakers ¶
If the problem above still persists then the internal speakers might be damaged or broken. Use this [guide] to replace the speakers.
The Camera is Taking Poor Photos ¶
The camera is producing blurry or distorted pictures.
Dirty Lens ¶
Look at the camera on the back side of the device and see if there are any smudges or grime on it. If so, clean the lens. Use a soft towel to wipe the screen of the camera, then take a picture to see if quality has improved. If the lens is still dirty or is dirty on the inside, refer to our [camera replacement guide].
Broken Camera ¶
Look at the camera on the back side of the device and see if there are any cracks or visual problems with it. If so, refer to our [camera replacement guide] to replace it.
