The software doesn't function properly ¶ 

The device software is not downloading onto my computer.

Computer is not up to required specifications ¶ 

The PC system must meet the following minimum specifications:

  • Windows XP
  • CD-ROM drive(double speed or greater)
  • Windows Media Player 10
  • USB port (2.0) supported
  • Pentium 200MHz or greater 
  • DirectX 9.0 or above
  • 50MB of available hard disk space
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or above

The software has not been completely installed ¶ 

Make sure there are no scratches or marking on the Easy Start CD. If there is a new Easy Start CD, may be required to install the software.

The USB connection is not correct ¶ 

Check the connection between the USB cable and the computer. Check the connection between the USB cable and the USB connection port on the device. Make sure the USB cable is plugged into both securely.

The player does not work and the LCD displays nothing ¶ 

The device is not working.

The device needs to be reset ¶ 

Reset the device by pressing the RESET hole with a point object such as a safety pin.

The battery is dead ¶ 

Check the battery charge of the player. To charge the battery plug the device into computer using the USB cable. Make sure the connection is secure.

In PLAY mode, music is not playing after pressing the button ¶ 

I am hitting the play button but I can not hear my music.

The MP3 files are not saved in the built in memory ¶ 

The files need to be saved on to the device in order for the files to be played. Connect the device to the computer using the USB cable and move the files onto the device if they are not currently reading. Make sure the connection of the USB cable is secure.

The HOLD button is on ¶ 

If the hold button is locked hitting the button will not work. Unlocking the hold button will fix this problem.

Files cannot be downloaded ¶ 

There is an error in transferring music MP3 files from my computer onto the device.

The driver is not installed correctly ¶

Make sure the USB cable is secure at both ends.

The device needs to be reset ¶ 

Reset the device by pressing the RESET hole with a point object such as a safety pin.

The memory of the device is full ¶ 

See if the memory of the device is full. If the memory is full new files will not be able to be downloaded.

My screen light won't display. ¶ 

The Backlight is not working.

The backlight setup is not set up correctly ¶ 

Make sure that the backlight is properly connected to the device.

Power is low, the backlight will go out ¶ 

Make sure the device has enough power supply. Connect the device, using the USB cable, to recharge the device.

The buttons aren't doing anything. ¶ 

My buttons on my device are not working.

The hold button is locked ¶ 

The hold button prevents the accidental pressing of buttons on the device. Make sure to turn off hold.

The device needs to be reset ¶ 

Find the small hole in the device labeled RESET and use a small pointed object to press this button.

I am unable to download any files to my player. ¶ 

When downloading a file in the library, the following message appears "Windows Media Player Cannot Play the File".

The files are not loaded on the device ¶ 

Select [TOOLS], then [SEARCH FOR MEDIA FILES], and finally [NEW FILES AND ALL EXISTING FILES IN LIBRARY] from the menu. This allows you to search for your file.

The file name is not displayed correctly. ¶ 

Move to [Settings] → [Display] → [Language] in the Menu and then change the language setting.

I cannot properly connect the player to the PC ¶ 

I am having problems trying to connect my device to my PC.

"Win98 : try to connect again after installing Driver."

"Win ME/2000/XP :Press Start in the desktop to execute Windows Update. After selecting important update and service pack, execute update all. Try to connect it again after rebooting PC."

My player keeps turning off. ¶ 

The Player keeps shutting off'.

The player is in "Stop Mode" ¶ 

If the player is in stop mode, the device will automatically shut down.

The power is low ¶ 

See the backlight is not working

The saved files are not on your device ¶
