Phone will not turn on ¶ 

Low battery ¶ 

  • Place your phone in the charging station to charge the battery. If the phone does not start to charge, then your battery could be faulty. In that case, refer to the Battery Replacement Guide.

Keypad is not functioning properly ¶ 

  • If there is an issue with your keypad it may prevent your power button from working correctly. In that case, refer to the Keypad Replacement Guide.

Non-responsive buttons ¶ 

Loose or broken keypad ¶ 

  • The keypad buttons might be loose or broken. Look over the keypad closely, and if that is the issue then refer to the Keypad Replacement Guide.

Battery is not charging ¶ 

Improperly inserted charging cable ¶ 

  • Make sure the charging cable is securely inserted.

Improperly inserted battery ¶ 

  • Refer to the Battery Replacement Guide if the battery needs to be replaced or properly inserted.
  • Remember to keep the metal contacts at the battery base clean.

Speaker volume is low ¶ 

  • Volume setting is too low. You can adjust the earpiece volume during a call using the volume key on the side of your phone. Briefly press the volume key to increase or decrease the volume.

Loose or broken volume button ¶ 

Low service ¶ 

  • In an area of low service, relocate to a different area.

Phone has poor reception ¶ 

Damaged antenna ¶

  • In an area of low service, relocate to a different area.
  • For best reception, extend the antenna fully.
