Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro Troubleshooting
Released October 28, 2011, model alias SGH-1547. Includes a mini-Sim card, 8GB of storage, Super AMOLED screen display, micro USB charging port, and 1850 mAh (milliampere-hours) battery capacity.
The Galaxy Rugby Pro Displays a Discolored or Blue Screen
The Galaxy Rugby Pro screen stops displaying pixels normally and will have discolored blotches of pixels or a blue-tinted screen.
The screen has degraded pixels
A known issue that may occur is when the Galaxy Rugby Pro Super AMOLED screen will burn in and leave blotches of discolored pixels that take up large amounts of the display or leave "ghost images" as the screen ages. This issue is common amongst all OLED-type screens and can be solved by replacing the screen.
Broken Screen
The display screen has stopped responding to user input due to damage and/or software issues. Please reference this guide for replacing and removing the screen.
The Phone has a Distorted Audio Output
The sound coming from the Galaxy Rugby Pro is distorted or cut out sporadically.

Loose Audio Jack
The Phone Can’t Connect to WiFi
Connection to the internet is lost and the Galaxy Rugby Pro cannot connect.
The Phone Fails to Charge
The charging port on the Galaxy Rugby Pro does not accept the connection and the battery doesn't charge.
Faulty power adapter
Verify that the cable used to charge the phone is in working condition and has no visible signs of damage to them. If there is damage, consider replacing the adapter with a new one.
Faulty battery
If the adapter has been verified to have not been damaged and still connects to the micro USB charging port, please reference this guide to replace the battery.
