The Screen Is Unresponsive ¶

Apps will not respond to touch from either a finger or stylus.

Phone Is Frozen Or Stuck ¶

For the phone to become responsive again, a restart may be necessary. Perform this by holding the power button for 5 - 8 seconds. The phone should cycle off then on. If the phone is now working properly you have fixed the issue.

Very Low Battery ¶

In some cases an unresponsive screen may be simply because the battery is too low. Plug in the phone and allow it to charge for 30 minutes before using it again.

Faulty LCD Screen Or Digitizer ¶

If it appears that the screen is covered in black dots that cannot be removed with a microfiber cloth, or the screen itself is cracked, the entire LCD Screen assembly may need to be replaced.

This problem can be fixed using the Glass Screen Replacement Guide.

The Camera Isn’t Working ¶

When a photo is taken using either the rear camera or front-facing camera, they come out either not focused or blacked out.

Dirty Rear Or Front-Facing Lens ¶

The issue may be that the camera lens is dirty. Take a microfiber clothe or similar soft clothe and gently rub the lens with a circular motion. After, try to take another picture with the camera. If the image looks good the issue has been resolved. If the image still looks blurry then try the next step in this guide.

Damaged Rear Camera ¶

If the main camera lens looks cracked, or doesn't take pictures at all, the main camera assembly may need to be replaced.

This problem can be fixed using the Rear Camera Replacement Guide.

Damaged Front-Facing Camera ¶

If the front-facing camera lens looks cracked, or doesn't take pictures at all, the front-facing camera assembly may need to be replaced.

This problem can be fixed using the Front-Facing Camera Replacement Guide.

The Volume Button Isn’t Working ¶

When trying to either increase or decrease the volume it doesn’t change.

Stuck Volume Button ¶

If when pressing down on the volume button it doesn't move, the button itself may need to be replaced.

This problem can be fixed using the Volume Button Replacement Guide.

Faulty Motherboard ¶

If the volume button does move when pressed but doesn't change the volume, the motherboard may need to be replaced.

This problem can be fixed using the Motherboard Replacement Guide.

The Phone Will Not Finish Startup ¶

When turning on the phone it doesn’t finish starting up.

Phone Internal Error ¶

If when turning on the phone it never stops loading, first try a reset. To perform a reset, remove the cover on the back of the phone, exposing the battery. Next, remove the battery and re-insert it and attempt to restart it. If the phone still will not fully start up, perform a factory reset by following the steps listed on https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/...

WARNING: If performing a factory reset all data on the phone will be lost.

Faulty Motherboard ¶

If neither a reset nor a factory reset work, the motherboard assembly may need to be replaced.

This problem can be fixed using the Motherboard Replacement Guide.
