I have a Ricoh MP C307 which is showing an unusual problem. I replaced the Cyan Toner bottle. The machine detected the new toner and displayed the correct status. I printed 4 pages with color content and the machine indicated Toner empty for the Cyan Bottle. I reseated the toner and the machine recognized the bottle and displays a full bottle. The problem repeats as soon as I print a few pages. I tried another Cyan Toner this acted the same. I carefully inspected and cleaned the contacts on the cartridge. I tried printing pages with no color, black only and the same problem occurred. The toner cartridges are Ricoh genuine.

On this printer copier even if there's a problem with a single color the rest are affected as well, because it prints using all four combination...
In respect to your problem, unblock the toner pump passage and install your new cartridge, then you are good to go..
