Razor Cobra Pro scroll wheel is skipping or not registering

Whether your playing a game or doing office work mouse problems plague us all this guide will go over the most common problems and solutions to the Razer Cobra Pro.

Cautions: 

• First disconnect the mouse from any USB port it may be plugged into.
• Be cautious of sharp edges after cracking open the shell as the edges may be sharp.
• Be cautious of disconnecting cable to PCB circuit.

1. Crack the Razor Cobra Pro shell open from where the bottom and top shell meet.
2. Check to see encoder is smudged or dirty.
3. Check to see if encoder is faulty or damaged in anyway.

1. Disconnect the mouse from the computer.
2. Inspect the gaps around the scroll wheel for dust or debris.
3. Rotate the scroll wheel in both directions to check for any obstructions.
4. Use compressed air around the wheel to loosen up and remove and debris.
5. Reconnect and the mouse and test scrolling.

1. Open settings -> Bluetooth & devices -> Mouse in Windows.
2. Check the scrolling settings and adjust the number of lines per scroll.
3. Test the wheel in multiple applications.
4. Check whether the problem occurs when scrolling slowly, quickly, or in either direction.

1. Go to settings.
2. See if you're on the latest version (Synapse 4).
3. If you're on an older version click update firmware.
