Oppo X9000 Troubleshooting

The screen is slow or frozen, and does not quickly respond to touch.

Wait approximately two minutes before using the phone again. Restart your phone by holding down the power button and selecting the "Restart Phone" option.

Hold the 'home' button down until a list of all the open application appears. Swipe left on all the open applications that you are not currently using to close them. This allows for the phone to not use so much of it's processing power on unwanted applications.

"Power button remains pressed down when used."

If the phone's display is off immediately after the power button is pressed, attempt to power off the phone by holding the power button down. Once the phone is off, open the back casing of the phone and replace or clean your power button.

"The Volume button is not responsive or stuck."

If the phone's volume cannot be adjusted using the volume buttons on the side of the phone, attempt to power off the phone by holding the power button down and selecting the "Turn Phone Off" option. Once the phone is off, open the back casing of the phone and replace or clean your volume button.

"The back casing of the phone does not want to fully close, leaving a corner open."

Pull the back panel of the phone off. Check to see that the battery is flush against the phone. Place the back panel once again against the back of the phone and squeeze the back panel to the phone starting from the top by the camera. Keep squeezing down alongside the sides of the phone until the panel is on properly. If you still have problems with the case closing, you may need to replace your phone's back panel or battery.

"The phone just states that there is an error with connecting to the internet over WiFi."

Go to the WiFi settings of the phone. Select router you are trying to connect to and select the "Forget Network" option. Once the phone is no longer trying to connect to the router, try to reconnect to the router by reentering the password.

Restart your phone by holding down the power button. Select the "Restart Phone" option. Once the phone is on again, try reconnecting to the router.

Restart your router. Contact your internet provider if you do not know how to restart the router.

"The Battery does not last the day."

Hold the touch screen home button down until a list of open applications appears. Close all the applications that are not currently in use.

Select the settings option on the phone. Under the "General" settings, select the battery option. The first digital switch that appears is to turn on the power saving mode. Tap the option to turn on the power saving mode.

When the phone screen is on and unlocked, swipe down the screen starting from the top. There is a dial that allows you to control the screen brightness at the top. If you adjust the dial to the left, the brightness of the screen dims. To save battery, adjust the brightness dial to the lowest option you desire.

Unfortunately, batteries don't last forever. If your battery is not lasting as long as it used to replace the battery.
