Nacon Wired Compact Controller Does Not Vibrate
The Nacon Wired Compact Controller BB4469 is a compact wired gaming controller designed for the Play Station 4.It shows issues with the vibration motor and the triggers.
Vibration Setting Disabled
Sometimes the settings may have the vibration option disabled. Be sure that it is enabled for the controller to vibrate.
- Go to the console Settings>Devices> Controller.
- Then press ‘Enable Vibration’ and make sure it is active.
- Launch a game and see if it supports it.
Game does not support Vibration
Some games have their own vibration settings. Even if vibration is enabled on the console, the controller may not vibrate if the feature is disabled in the game.
- Open the game’s Setting menu.
- Locate the Vibration,Rumble or Controller Feedback and enable it.
- Test the controller during gameplay.
- Try another vibration-compatible game if the problem continues
Loose Vibration Motor Connection
A loose or ratting vibration motor inside the controller is usually caused by breaking free from its adhesive, socket or the internal plastic/ hinge mount may have snapped. These issues can prevent the motor from functioning properly.
- Open the controller: Remove phillips-head screws
- Check the Mount and Adhesive: Make sure they’re not worn out
- Inspect for broken hinges: If broken carefully re-glue the plastic bracket or replace the rumble assembly
- Check the wires: Make sure the red and black wires are still firmly soldered to the motors terminals.
- Reassemble: Snap the controller halves back together and put screws back
