Monster Shock Plus Will Not Power On

Why won't your Monster Shock Plus power on? It may be due to internal or external component failures. If that's the case, pursue these measures in order to have your Monster Shock Plus back active and operational.

Low or Dead Battery:

-Check The Battery:

Fully charge the speaker using the provided USB-C cable and a working USB adapter or computer port. The charging indicator light should illuminate; it turns off when fully charged. Cited from https://manuals.plus/asin/B0FXW6ZWYF

Faulty or Loose Charging Connection:

-Inspect the charging port and cable:

Look for debris, bent pins, or any type of visible damage to the external charging port. Try using a different USB-C cable or a different power source.

Ensure the port is clean and dry and avoid forcing the cable in; damage can block charging. Cited from https://manuals.plus/asin/B0FGPXKBT4

Unresponsive Power Button:

-Analyze the power button:

If the speaker seems unresponsive to attempts to power it on, first make sure that you are properly powering on the speaker. You will do this by pressing and holding the power button with your thumb using appropriate force until the LED light indicator shows. Be aware that excessive force may break the button as it is not designed for that amount of force. If the button does not respond, then check to see if the power button is at all loose or stuck as the button may not be making proper contact. If the speaker does show signs of being stuck or loose, then try to press the button from different angles in order to create contact between the button and its switch. However, if the speaker does not show signs of being loose or stuck, then the issue may be a structural failure caused by physical damage or extreme conditions.
