Logitech Circle Home Monitor Troubleshooting

Night Vision is Malfunctioning ¶ 

Your Night Vision is not working.

If the Night Vision is not working on your Logitech Circle, try toggling Night Vision ON and OFF by Setting Menu - More Settings - Night Vision. After you complete this step, try some Night Vision Tests:

  1. Place the Circle in a completely dark space, an example the bottom of a drawer, to see if the Night Vision turns on, be sure to hear a click and see red LEDs around the lens. The drawer simulates the lighting similar to a night time environment.
  2. Turn the power off, then back on using the switch at the bottom of the camera. When you turn the camera back on, you should hear a "click" sound during the boot-up cycle.

Dead Battery ¶ 

The battery could be dead, which is effecting the night vision. Try replacing it.

The Ribbon could be effecting the night vision, try replacing it.

Device won't Charge ¶ 

Circle is not charging.

If your camera isn't charging, try the following:

  1. Make sure the cable from the charging dock is securely connected to the power adapter and that the adapter is connected securely to a working power outlet.
  2. Make sure the charging dock is not upside down - you should see metallic contacts if the dock is correctly oriented.

If your camera is still unable to charge, contact Customer Care at Logitech, as you may need a replacement dock.

Dead Battery ¶ 

The battery could be dead, which is effecting the night vision. Try replacing it.

Device is Freezing ¶ 

Your device is frozen.

If your camera is freezing, find the power button on the bottom of the camera base. Switch it to off, wait a few seconds before turning it back on.

Device wont Connect to the Internet ¶ 

You may need to restart your circle. ¶ 

The power switch is on the bottom of the camera base. Switch it to off and wait for ten seconds before powering back on.

Your device may be too far from the router ¶ 

Try moving it closer and ensuring there's few obstructions between the two (such as thick walls.)

The video resolution may be slowing the internet connection ¶ 

Try decreasing the video resolution for the 720p default. You can do this by going to the settings menu, tapping more settings, and edit your resolution.

The device's battery may be low ¶ 

Make sure the device is on and in place it on the charging dock.

You may have old versions of the app or Firmware ¶ 

Update the app. Update the firmware by going to the settings menu, tap more setting, and tap update Firmware.

Dead Battery ¶ 

The battery could be dead, which is effecting the night vision. Try replacing it.
