LG Intuition Troubleshooting

LG Intuition is frozen or is unresponsive

The phone screen will not respond to touch nor button press.

Restart LG Intuition

Try restarting your LG Intuition in order to check the screen’s responsiveness. To restart your device, press and hold the power button and volume up button simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the LG logo shows on the screen. Release both buttons and wait for the LG Intuition to fully shutdown. Turn on the LG phone by holding the power button. If the screen does not respond to these steps, consider the next two possible problems.

Dead Battery

Ensure that the phone is charged. Plug in the phone with a micro-usb cable to ensure that the phone is charged. If the phone does not indicate that it is being charged, consider replacing the battery with this guide LG Intuition Battery Replacement

Faulty Screen

Check that the phone screen is not frozen by holding the power button to shutdown the device. Try restarting the phone by pressing the power button. If the screen does not respond, consider checking the screen ribbon cable by taking the back cover off the phone. If the ribbon cable is secure, consider replacing the screen protector. Wifi/Bluetooth Will Not Connect To Selected Device

The LG Intuition will not connect to a wifi network or bluetooth capable device.

Wifi is not enabled

The phone cannot connect to wifi if it is not enabled. Verify that the Lg Intuitions wireless connection setting is enabled in the settings application.

Unsecured or Weak Internet Connection

Try rebooting the wireless router by referring to the router’s manual on how to reboot the internet connection. Reconnect the device in the wifi settings tab.

Bluetooth device is not searching for the LG Intuition

Ensure that both the bluetooth device and the LG Intuition have the bluetooth setting enabled. This can be found in the settings application of the phone. If this does not solve the bluetooth connection issue, consider replacing the wifi/bluetooth antenna.

Faulty Wifi/Bluetooth Antenna

Try restarting the phone by holding the power button. Turn the phone back on and try to reconnect to the wifi/bluetooth device. If it still does not connect to the intended device/network, consider replacing the wifi/bluetooth antenna.

Unresponsive Power Button

The LG Intuition will not connect to a wifi network or bluetooth capable device.

Power button is stuck in place

Check for dirt inside the area of the power button by using an alcohol prep pad to clean the area around the power button. Try to absorb as much dirt from the power button and try pressing the button again. If the power button of the LG Intuition is still unresponsive, consider checking to see if the power button is connected to the phone’s motherboard. Otherwise, consider replacing the power button. Faulty Power Button

Ensure that the phone’s power button connector is secured to the motherboard. If the button is secure, check the power button for damage. LG Intuition won’t charge

The LG Intuition will not charge when inserting the phone’s micro-usb port into the charging port.

Faulty Charging port

Check to see if the charging port contains dust or if something is blocking the port. Use a compressed air can to clean any dust or filament that might affect the charging port. Also, ensure that the right cable is being used. Try using a different micro-usb cable. If the problem occurs after these possible solutions, consider replacing the phone’s charging port.

Faulty Battery

Ensure that the battery is connected to the phone by removing the phone’s back plate. If the battery is secured, check for the battery’s water damage indicator. If the battery is not damaged, consider replacing the battery. Replace the battery using this guide LG Intuition Battery Replacement
