Tablet Not Charging ¶ 

When I plug in my charger, the battery doesn't charge.

Power Outage ¶ 

Check to make sure there is not a power outage in your area and that the outlet your charger is connected to is functioning properly. Try plugging the charger into a different outlet.

Charger Not Plugged In Correctly ¶ 

If the charger is not working, it might not be plugged in correctly. Try inserting the charger differently being sure not to force it, as that could damage the charger or tablet.

Charging Port is Blocked ¶ 

The charging port might be blocked by dirt or other particles. Try cleaning the port out with a small, thin wire or brush.

Faulty Charger ¶ 

If the charger is not working, it might be faulty. Try using a different functional micro-USB charger.

Faulty Charging Port ¶ 

There might be an issue with the micro-USB charging port, which is soldered to the motherboard. Consider replacing the motherboard using this guide.

Tablet Not Powering On ¶ 

When I try to turn on my tablet, the screen stays black.

Battery is Dead ¶ 

If your tablet fails to turn on, the battery might be dead. Try plugging in the charger and waiting a few minutes.

Faulty Battery ¶ 

If you've tried charging your tablet, but it still does not power on, the battery might be faulty. Consider replacing the battery using this guide.

Faulty Motherboard ¶ 

There might be an issue with the micro-USB charging port, which is soldered to the motherboard. Consider replacing the motherboard using this guide.

Tablet Camera Not Working ¶ 

When I try to take a photo, the picture is black.

Surroundings are Too Dark ¶ 

The area in which you are trying to take a picture may be too dark for the camera sensor to pick anything up. Try moving to an area that has better lighting.

Camera is Covered ¶ 

The camera may be blocked or obstructed. Check to make sure items like stickers or cases are not blocking the camera.

Software Issue ¶ 

There may be an issue with the software of the tablet that is preventing the camera from functioning properly. Try turning the tablet off and on again. If restarting the device does not work, refer to this page about factory resetting the device.

Faulty Camera ¶ 

There may be a hardware issue with the camera, consider replacing the camera by following this guide.

Tablet Screen Not Responding to Touch ¶ 

When I touch the screen, nothing happens.

Fingers Covered ¶ 

If your fingers are covered with a glove or residue, the screen may not respond to touch. Try removing any gloves or washing your hands making sure to dry them thoroughly.

Software Issue ¶ 

There may be an issue with the software of the tablet that is preventing the screen from responding to touch. Try turning the tablet off and on again. If restarting the device does not work, refer to this page about factory resetting the device.

Screen is Damaged ¶ 

If there are significant cracks or other damage to the screen, it may not respond to touch. Consider replacing your screen using this guide.

Tablet Not Playing Sound ¶ 

When I play a song or video, no sound comes out of the speakers.

Muted Sound ¶ 

If there is no sound coming from your tablet, the volume may be turned down. Check the sound buttons on the side of the device. Press the top volume button until desired volume is reached.

Speaker Covered ¶ 

There might be something blocking the speaker. Try moving the device away from anything blocking the speakers. Also, look at the speakers to see if anything could be cleaned to improve sound.

Faulty Speaker ¶ 

There might be something wrong with the speaker itself. If so, consider replacing your speakers using this guide.
