Wifi Driver Needs Updated ¶

If your HP Stream 13- c002dx is not showing or connecting to any internet sources, you should check to make sure your computer has the most current wifi driver installed. To do this, first go to the windows start button and search for “Device Manager”. In the new window, click the “Network Adapters” tab and update each of the devices by double clicking on them and choosing “update device driver”. You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Wifi Card Needs Replacing ¶

To Replace the wifi card start by flipping over the laptop and remove all the screws, including the ones under the rubber stops. Next, use a separating tool to remove the bottom cover from the body. Once the bottom cover is removed you will be able to see the wifi card in the center of the laptop. Take the separating tool and place it in-between the wifi card and the motherboard while applying leverage. This will dislodge the wifi card making it to where it can be removed. Once removed, replace the wifi card with the replacement card. After the new wifi card is attached to the motherboard take the bottom cover and place it back on the body. Press the cover around the edges snapping the cover back on and replace the screws and the rubber stops.

Jammed Keys ¶

If particular keys are jammed, you may be able to take a flat head screwdriver and pull it up, as well as clean underneath the key to remove sticky material. Do not use any liquid material to remove dirt or grime, as this may cause your entire keyboard to be defective.
