Dyson V15 Detect Carpet Roller Head Not Spinning
If you notice the carpet roller head not spinning properly when cleaning.
Debris on the roller head
Remove the roller head from the rest of the vacuum. Open the roller release on the side of the head, then remove the brush bar. Cut away and remove any hair, string, carpet fibers, or other debris wrapped around the roller and its end caps. Reinstall the brush bar, lock the release, and reconnect the roller head to test it.
Motor or electrical issue
Check the connector between the roller head and wand for dirt, damage, or bent contacts. Clean away any debris and firmly reconnect the parts. If the roller still does not spin after the brush bar and connections are clean, the roller-head motor may be faulty and the head may need repair or replacement.
