Dopo Double Power 7 Troubleshooting

Identified by Model EM63

Dopo will not turn on ¶

No matter what you do, you cannot get your Dopo to turn on.

Drained/bad battery ¶

If your Dopo will not turn on, especially if it has not been used recently, you may simply have a drained battery. Attempt to charge the device using the A/C power adapter it came with. The Dopo back light will illuminate the screen and the android logo should appear. Then you should finally be at the lock screen. If it will no longer charge, the battery must be replaced. Here is the link for the Battery Replacement Guide.

Bad display ¶

After attempting to turn it on, plug in the device and try to see if the charge light is on. If it is on try to power on/off. If the light shuts off then turns back on this means the device is booting back up. If the screen still does not turn on the screen may be bad and it should be replaced. Here is the link for the Display Replacement Guide.

Bad motherboard ¶

It is possible the motherboard is bad. After attempting to turn it on, hold the device to your ear and you should hear the "Dopo" theme or the device itself. If no noise is made then the logic board may be the issue and should be replaced. Here is the link for the Motherboard Replacement Guide.

Dopo will not respond to touch ¶

No matter what you do, you cannot get your Dopo to respond to touch.

Bad display ¶

If touching the screen does nothing, then your display may be bad and it should be replaced. Here is the link for the Display Replacement Guide.

Dopo has no sound ¶

No sound or obscure noises are heard during playback.

Settings ¶

If your Dopo will not play sound, try making sure the volume is on and no "do not disturb" type settings are on.

Bad speaker ¶

When attempting to play audio either no sound plays or incorrect sound plays (static, corrupted sound, etc). It is possible that the speaker itself could be broken. Here is the link to the Speaker Removal Guide.
